Alice Nine are one of those few visual kei bands that continue to tease me with their talent, but seem to only deliver the punch on a handful of songs. One thing is apparent though in that these guys are very talented and definitely know how to craft a memorable, yet complexly structured song.
“Saccharine” is a descriptive word I try to avoid when talking about the pop-punk bands of America, Japan and Korea, but Alice Nine is one the few bands that really could trascend their visual kei roots if they didn’t always have to compose those “shoot for the stars” chorus lines.
*The photoshoot for the video is in the June issue of Arena37c magazine.
