Featured Designer: Mr. Yahmoojean
Surprising, as I was browsing the absolutely horrendously designed G Market commerce site, I came across these series of designer jeans on sale. What’s more interesting is that, apparently, the advertising materials were done by none other than Brazillian graphic designer Eduardo Recife of Misprinted Type fame. Eduardo has been a HUGE influence on me as a graphic designer, and it’s pretty crazy to see his work in a Korean fashion catalogue. The jeans themselves seem to be similar in style. Here’s just a sample of the series:

What can I say? Esoteric forms of weight lifting interest me. Whereas most people have gotten into the traditonal forms of yoga and tai-chi, I present to you the art of the Kettlebell. Traditionally, these weights are forged in cast iron in a wide variety of sizes. Apparently it’s Russian history is quite impressive, where pretty much every major weightlifter swore by them.
I’ve been looking to focus more on free weights in my workouts, but I rather not pay the high fees to workout in club gyms and be bothered by a bunch of fools trying to impress each other. Kettlebells (or Girya) are bit more expensive than your average weight, but they seem to be the real deal. Hopefully within the next few months I can switch over to kettlebell training so I can start on the path of becoming a Girevik.
. . . and yes, that is Dennis O’Neil, Korean (well, half Korean) model and as some of you might recognize, Han Yoo-il from the Korean drama 달콤한스파이 (Sweet Spy).
